During Art week, we enjoyed learning about many different artists from around the world.
Mrs Leitch and Mr Magee showed us various pictures from a Japanese artist called Yayoi Kusami, who is obsessed with polka dots and we replicated her butterfly using cocktail sticks and cotton buds with paint.
We learned about Pop Art from Mrs Magorrian, studied David Hockney’s ‘A Bigger Splash’ with Mrs McMahon and enjoyed painting trees in the style of Piet Mondrian.
