This morning we had our last Advent assembly before Christmas. We lit the third purple candle for LOVE.
As part of our assembly, the children helped to create a manger scene in the church. As one child read a prayer, children brought the statues of Joseph (Aimee), Mary (Jessica), Shepherds (Ellie) and three Kings (Eimer) to the altar in anticipation of the birth of baby Jesus (Jack Mc).
Dear God,
In everything we do and say, help us to show love to others. Today we ask your blessing on our circle of love and prayers. Keep us forever safe in the warmth of your love.
