P4/5 - The Great Fire Of London
31st Mar 2021
Since coming back to school, we have been working hard to complete our study of The Great Fire Of London. We made Tudor houses in class, then we lined them up outside and set fire to one to show how quickly the fire spread. The children then passed a bucket of water along the line to put out the fire. This was a lengthy process and showed us one of the many difficulties the people of London faced when they were trying to put out the fire. Every safety angle was covered by us to ensure no one got burnt.
