During the visit the children learned all about the dangers of fire in our homes. They discussed potential hazards and how to prevent them causing a fire. The importance of mapping out a fire exit route in our homes was emphasised and the children discussed ways they could help their families to create a fire exit plan. At the end, they got the opportunity to try on some of the protective clothing worn by the firefighters.
