P4/5 Trip to Lisburn Linen Museum
7th Dec 2021
To consolidate all our learning on The Ancient Egyptians, we went on a visit to the Lisburn Linen Museum. Our tour guide Philip showed us around all the displays and told the children lots of interesting facts about the Ancient Egyptians as well as explaining how linen was made from flax and all the processes involved. During two workshops, the children made Canopic Jars from clay and decorated King Tutankhamun’s mask. A great day had by all 😁
