The first half of the session, involved an investigation into Who Killed Freddy Fly? where children had to test the solubility of various markers.
The second half of the lesson involved testing the pH levels of various household substances, such as washing powder, salty water, diluted juice, vinegar, etc. Children testing for levels of acid or alkaline, predicting pH levels and comparing results.
