Last month P6/7 visited Down Museum for an archaeological talk. We were lucky to see and hold many real artefacts that had been discovered during Norman times around the Cathedral. We also got to see how an archaeologist prepares for a dig by measuring the land and how they calculate the amount of earth they will excavate .
