Primary 6 and 7 visited the beautiful Hillsborough Castle on the 8th March. The children had a wonderful time exploring the vast and colourful gardens and exquisite house. They were taken on a tour of the castle by ‘Lady Charlotte Hill’ who narrated the story of the Hill family and the links to the Royal Family. The children saw paintings of various members of the Royal Family dating back hundreds of years, as well as a more modern portrait of Queen Elizabeth. A wonderful time was had by all and thankfully the weather held up for our playtime!
