Mark from Colours in Ballynahinch came to school today to talk to children about processes involved in Pottery making. He explained the children would be painting a pottery ‘bisque’ with 3 layers of paint. Back in the studio he will dip the bisques in glaze and then fire them in the kiln at 1000 degrees. Finished pottery pieces will be returned to the children on Thursday 😄
