Ellie-May, a pupil in Primary 5 came up with a fabulous idea for reading in our classroom. She created a set of ‘Take One and Leave One’ boxes. She decided it would be a good idea for children to read a wider range of books. She brought in some books from home which she has already read a few times and left them in a box for others to read. The idea is that you leave one of your own books in the box and take a different one. She cleverly designed and created three boxes, one for girls, one for boys and one for both. An absolutely wonderful idea Ellie-May. Well done 😁
